Giving Trees
Starting Sunday, 11/16/25, you can pick up a tag off the Christmas tree for a child in the Holiday Smiles program in partnership with Families Together, OR you can pick up an Angel Tree Item to help a Refugee Family in the Angel Tree program in partnership with Refugee Hope Partners!
Thank you for your prayerful consideration of helping to provide gifts for children and families in our community. If you’re interested in supporting our Giving Trees this year, here’s what we need you to do:
Families Together Holiday Smiles:
STEP 1: Choose a Holiday Smile tag off the tree representing one of the 15 children you will shop for in the Families Together Holiday Smiles Program! You may consider partnering with someone to be able to get all the needed items for each child. Please note the recommended amount to spend per child is between $75-$100.
STEP 2: Please fill out the attached Holiday Smiles form and drop it in the basket located next to the tree so we know who has which one.
STEP 3: Follow the directions on the ornament tag.
STEP 4: Wrap your gifts (putting them in a big gift bag works too!) and put your child’s name & family number on the gifts if individually wrapped.
STEP 5: Return your gifts to St. Philip by Sunday, December 7.
Refugee Hope Partners Angel Tree:
STEP 1: Choose an Angel Tree ornament from the tree. These items are curated by Refugee Hope Partners to make the largest impact on the families they serve this Holiday Season.
STEP 2: After choosing an ornament, please fill out the appropriate form that matches what is listed on your ornament. The value of items per ornament ranges from $5 to $50.
STEP 3: You can either follow the attached QR code on the ornament to give directly to RHP (please indicate “St. Philip Angel Tree” in the comments section of the online gift OR you can bring your ornament and donation to the church in an envelope for us to send to deliver to RHP.
STEP 4: Please make sure to make or return any donations by Sunday, 12/7/25.
