Starting Sunday, November 8, you have two wonderful opportunities to bless local children and families through our annual Giving Tree tradition. Whether you choose to shop for a child or support a refugee family, your generosity helps spread hope and joy in our community as we partner with two of our closest community partners.
Thank you for your prayerful consideration as we love our neighbors this season! Here is how you can participate in each program:
1. “Holiday Smiles” with Families Together
Provide Christmas gifts directly for a child in need in our local area.
Recommended Spend: $75–$100 per child (Feel free to partner with a friend or another family to shop together!)
How to Participate:
Pick a Tag: Select a Holiday Smiles tag off the tree in the lobby.
Sign Up: Fill out the Holiday Smiles Form next to the tree so we can keep track of which tag you’ve selected.
Shop & Wrap: Follow the directions on your tag. Wrap your gifts (or place them in a large gift bag) and clearly label them with your child’s name and family number.
Return Date: Bring all gifts back to St. Philip by Sunday, December 6.
2. “Angel Tree” with Refugee Hope Partners
Support local refugee families with specially curated items and direct financial aid this holiday season.
How to Participate:
Pick an Ornament: Choose an Angel Tree ornament from the tree.
Give or Shop: Scan the QR code on your ornament to make an online donation, or purchase the specific gift card requested.
Return Date: Complete your online gift or return gift cards to St. Philip by Sunday, December 6.
