Regan Wang

Worship and Music Ministries Director

Regan has been a leader of Music Ministry at St. Philip since 2018. Originally from Detroit, Michigan, she moved to the Raleigh area after college and put down her roots. Regan has nearly 30 years of experience as a musician. Along with her work at St. Philip, she performs with various ensembles including the Really Terrible Orchestra of the Triangle (RTOOT) and the All Strung Out String Quartet. Regan also works as a collaborative pianist at Meredith College.

A lifelong member of the ELCA, Regan grew up in the Lutheran tradition and has been serving in church music ministry for the past 15 years. She studied Music at the University of Michigan, where she honed her craft and developed a strong foundation in both performance and liturgical music.

Regan is passionate about using music as a way to reach others and offer praise to God. Whether leading worship, directing ensembles, or accompanying on piano or organ, she strives to create meaningful and spirit-filled worship experiences for all.

Regan is often accompanied to church by Kelun (husband), Niko (son), and Nora (daughter). In her free time she enjoys hanging out with her family, eating sushi, spending time outdoors, and playing an occasional video game.
