Ushers

Usher Mission: To enhance the worship experience of St. Philip members and visitors. We are there to assist in whatever way we can to provide a stress-free and meaningful worship experience for congregants.

Ushers will perform duties before, during and after the service by lighting and extinguishing candles on the altar, directing congregants to communion and making sure that everyone who wants to take communion has that opportunity including having the pastor come out to the pews to provide communion when someone can’t get to the altar, and other duties as assigned.
