Blessing Bags Are Back!

We’re excited to share that Blessing Bags are back!

These simple Ziploc bags are filled with non-perishable food items and are meant to be kept in your car, ready to share when you see someone asking for help on the side of the road. While a small bag of food may seem like a simple gift, it can be a meaningful reminder to someone that they are seen, cared for, and not alone.

The contents of each Blessing Bag have been thoughtfully chosen with guidance from local nonprofits to provide safe and effective calories for people who may not know where their next meal will come from.

After running out of Blessing Bags a few months ago, we were grateful to see so many members of our congregation come together on God’s Work, Our Hands Sunday (August 30) to pack 100 more bags!

Each year, our congregation packs and distributes 400–500 Blessing Bags throughout our community. Thank you for helping us share God’s love in a simple, practical, and compassionate way—one Blessing Bag at a time.
