Annual NRM Food Drive (Aug. 30-Oct. 4)
Our Annual Food Drive is underway! From August 30 through October 4, St. Philip will be collecting food to support the NRM Food Pantry and our neighbors in North Raleigh who are experiencing food insecurity.
In 2025, the NRM Food Pantry served more than 2,400 people each month who needed food support. This year, the need has only continued to grow, and NRM expects to serve even more people in our community.
As we come together to help address food insecurity, we invite you to donate some of the items most needed by the pantry. Check out the graphic for this year’s most-needed items and consider picking up a few extras during your next grocery trip. Every donation—big or small—can help make a difference for a neighbor who is struggling to put food on the table.
Food Drive “Pay It Forward” Envelopes
Our Pub Ministry Team is also bringing back a special opportunity to pay it forward during this year’s food drive!
On September 16, members of the Pub Ministry Team will be sharing envelopes containing cash to help you purchase some of the needed food items. But there’s a challenge attached: we hope you’ll use the gift as an opportunity to double the amount as you shop for groceries for neighbors in need!
Donated food items can be dropped off at the tables outside our worship spaces. If you would prefer to make a monetary donation, you can give online and indicate that your gift is for the “Food Drive,” or place an envelope labeled “Food Drive” in the offering plate on Sunday.
Thank you for helping us care for our neighbors and share God’s love in a very practical way. Together, we can make sure more people in our community have access to the food they need.
